Website And Public Playground
The public playground runs drawing operations in your browser. SketchAPI does not offer durable hosted document storage, and playground documents are not automatically saved to a SketchAPI account.
Accounts And Dashboard
The dashboard uses Sketchpad Accounts for sign-in and hosted-service access decisions. SketchAPI receives the account identifier and access information needed to authorize dashboard requests; it does not receive your Accounts password. The browser stores a scoped Accounts app-session credential in local storage and short-lived sign-in state in session storage so you can remain signed in and complete the authorization handoff.
Projects, Keys, Sessions, And Usage
For hosted API customers, SketchAPI stores account and project identifiers, project names, allowed browser origins, API-key names, scopes, prefixes and cryptographic hashes, short-lived session records, and usage totals. A newly created API key is shown once; the stored record contains its hash rather than the complete secret. Hosted session records include the authorized origins, scopes, timestamps, and credential hashes needed to enforce access and limits. Drawing operations run in the hosted browser frame; usage reporting records operation counts rather than a durable copy of the drawing document.
Contact Messages
When you submit the contact form, we process the name, email address, company, inquiry type, subject, and message you provide so we can review and respond to your request. Valid messages are delivered to the SketchAPI team through its configured email provider.
Security And Operational Data
The contact page sets a same-site security token cookie used to validate form submissions. The site also uses the requesting network address for a short-lived rate limit. Hosting infrastructure and the hosted API may process standard request information such as network address, user agent, requested URL, status, request identifiers, and time for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
Service Providers, Analytics, And Payments
SketchAPI uses service providers for hosting, account authentication, and contact-email delivery. The current website does not include advertising trackers, a third-party analytics profile, checkout, or payment processing. A separate provider's policy applies when you follow a link to another product or service.
Requests
To ask about a contact message, hosted project data, or request deletion where applicable, email [email protected] from the account or message address involved.
